Food is truly amazing! Love it! We buy an assortment of items to dine on through our the afternoon. Delicious!

I got a sausage burrito with green chili and cheese; it made me realize how bad all the other burritos had been. Absolutely delicious, also got a horchata which was very good. This will definitely be a stop whenever I go to Belen. Can't wait to try more of their menu.

La esquina del Sabor is a wonderful little restaurant in my town. The location is top-notch. The food is excellent. My main problem here is it they have phone issues because of the phone lines that are in the ground. If it rains they have no phone. This is what drove the last owner out of business. Also they close at 2:30 in the afternoon. The food is very good. I've had it several times and had several different of the dishes. I'm looking forward to trying the next one which is the carne adobada gordita. Yum! If you're in Belen in the morning you should come try it too.

Great red Chile!! (Hard to find)I really haven't ventured past the chicharrone Gorditas due to only a couple of visits. Turned a couple of co- workers on to this place, both native New Mexicans, and they were impressed.

Small, privately owned goodness. I recommend you give it a try as there are many items on the menu I plan to feast on, with confidence mind you.
Just so everyone knows......I've lived in NM for over 30 years. I know good, great and not so good/great NM cuisine. Can't find it anywhere else, IMO.
