I have been in the program for 4 weeks and have found it to be a great workout. I only wish I had started the program sooner. It has a very conducive atmosphere to learn and Alan is extremely knowledgeable, patient and a good instructor. I would highly recommend this program to my friends and family.

As I have attended more classes I can feel that I am moving in the right direction. That is due directly to the instruction that is provided within each class. All techniques and moves are explained in such a way that it is easy for even a beginner like myself to understand and apply. A true sign of a great teacher is the ability to take something complicated and break it down for everyone to understand. Alan has demonstrated this ability in each and every class I have attended.

Each class is fun and challenging at the same time. At the end of each class I can't wait to get back on the mat and do it all over again.

Working with Alan & Cheryl has been a great experience - they bring very positive team energy, Empire is a great place to learn a new martial art!

We searched extensively for a kickboxing class for our 13-year-old son for fitness and confidence-building. What a joy it was to find Empire Defense and Fitness! They’re a family-owned and operated business and are super-friendly and welcoming. They know all of their students’ names and greet them on arrival. Their facility is immaculate. Their rates are very reasonable. The classes are quite a workout. Everyone leaves with a sweat—even me and I’m just watching! I like the flexibility of a month-to-month plan rather than being locked in for a year-long commitment. Highly recommend this business and hope they’re around for a long time.

It is an excellent place to workout with the multiple people that come so you can workout with someone experienced to learn and grow, then to work out with not so experienced people to work on your technique to improve yourself. Everyone is great to workout with, besides losing weight, it helps with my confident, stamina and relieves stress. The offering of classes in the morning and at evening works with my adjusted schedule to I know I will be able to get workout in,

I joined the Krav Maga class as a beginner at Empire Defence and Fitness. One month into the program, I have never felt so good and excited to exercise. Alan and Aaron are really great instructors who emphasize on basics and proper techniques. It is a great place to train and very well managed by Cheryl. The fellow students in the class are also very supportive and welcoming.

I am really excited and look forward to achieve my goals of becoming stronger and to learn Krav Maga.
