(July 1, 2023, 11:02 pm)Nothing but the best to say regarding this company.The radon was 1 day late but given the holidays that's expected . They caught over $10k in issues . We had a backup inspection done and these guys saved us from a lot of repairs. Thank God we hired them they saved us a bunch ! We will be hiring shield guard from here in out
(April 27, 2023, 5:31 pm)Oh man, Adam was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are purchasing our first home, and wanted someone we trusted to inspect our home. I am so happy we went with him! He never hesitated to answer our dozens of questions, and he was very informative about the process. He is very knowledgeable, and explains everything very clearly. I am 1000% going to be recommending him to everyone I know purchasing a home, and I’m never going to use another inspector! Thank you Adam!!!
(April 24, 2023, 4:41 pm)As an out of state investor I was looking for a commercial home inspector that was very familiar with commercial buildings and that had multiple inspectors that could complete the commercial inspection in 1 day (seller gave us 1 day for the inspection). After researching the company thoroughly I decided they were the best fit. I was looking for a commercial inspection company that was able to complete the inspection in 1 day, provided a detailed report and was available to discuss their findings. I’ve used other inspectors before. Due to the time constraint and the structure itself I decided to go with Shield Guard. Well now that I have found Shield Guard Inspections they will be my go to company. They provided a detailed inspection, great turnaround time on the report, easy to understand report and was available after the inspection to go over the report and answered all of my questions. Adam, Josh and I believe his name was Ken were phenomenal. They provided me with contractors who were able to assist with estimates, connected me with a person at the local building department who was able to help me (I always have a hard time dealing with building departments). From the initial phone call to our final review/ conversation of the report these guys were AWESOME!
(April 8, 2023, 9:48 pm)My last home inspector exaggerated issues and to get another inspection out of us. So we chose shield guard to inspect our multi unit. Flawless and informative. Best home inspector we’ve hired in the Colonie/ Albany area. There’s a reason they have a good rating. We initially thought they missed something in the basement. After looking at the report the seller hid the defect and we really didn’t think Ken/ Adam missed it. After reaching out to them regarding the defect they showed us picture with an explanation of what obstructed their view. Make sure everything is accessible and visible. Ken/Adam responded immediately and given our initial complaint we seen the honesty of these guys. We actually wanted to leave them a review after our initial complaint. If you want the best home inspector hire thee guys. Years ago we hired a home inspection company that offered a warranty. Don’t fall for the trap . We had issues with the fake warranties . Just hire a good home inspection company who does it right the first time and respond to any complaints. These guys are great!
