Dr. Schwartz always treated my father like a friend or family member that he cared greatly for and made my father feel listened to, respected and in control of his own treatment with the great advice and guidance of his beloved doctor. The day my father passed, Dr. Schwartz had already finished his day in the office and stopped in to see my father in the hospital on his way out and then stayed with him until he took his last breath. Two months after his passing, Dr. Schwartz hand wrote a letter to my mother to tell her how much he enjoyed his visits with my Dad and that he thinks of him often and he misses their visits and their talks and thanked my mother for placing their trust in him to care for my father. Dr. Schwartz is a truly a gem of a doctor and an incredible person, and the world is a better place because of him.”

I called patient engagement a little after 11am, I was previously incorrectly told 3 weeks ago that it my referral was received although it wasn't. My primary care has a history of not sending referrals. I wish I wasn't so self involved at the time to get the man's name that helped me so I could thank him. He stayed on the phone with me and gave me every step I needed to take, I was crying and I could tell he was making sure I understood what he told me before moving on to tell me the next step, and he reassured me that my problem would be resolved. I can't say thank you to this angel enough. I know I haven't seen any of the Neuro providers yet, but with an extremely frustrating healthcare system, if I can find a kind and attentive soul that is giving that level of customer service, to me that is a 5 star review.”
