“Gretchen Bellinger Inc has always stood out as one of the most positive times in my life. The nature of the business is tough, but I always held a high regard for the experience and knowledge that was gained there. The atmosphere is professional, but management always took an interest, personally, to care about each individual employee. Working in design and textiles, especially those that are the quality of Gretchen Bellinger Inc, has allowed much opportunity and knowledge for other areas of design.”

“Reasonable prices for washing at $2/load. The washers are a decent size and can fit a good amount of laundry. Dryers are huge and are 25¢ to start. You can easily dry 2 loads of wash. It's helpful that they have coin change machines as well as detergent vending machines. They even have a small, clean, bathroom for customers. Parking is a little confusing, there is a very small lot in the front, but a sign advising that you park in the back. If you make the block, you will find a much better place to park and the rear entrance to the building.”

“Great family-run business, friendly, and affordable! They know their stuff! We used Choppa & Son Formal Wear for our January wedding and they were wonderful. They even knew to ask whether the men should wear ivory or white, to coordinate with my dress. The owner is very easy-going and helpful. We were able to rent the groom's tux, groomsmen tuxes, ring bearer's, and he even had options for the father of the bride and father of the groom. Tons of styles and colors to chose from. We booked everything a few months out, and the groomsmen that don't live in the area could send their measurements over without having to step foot in the shop. The tuxes fit great! The owner actually gave us his cell phone, because our wedding was on a holiday when stores were closed. He told us he would open the shop for us if we needed different sizes or had an emergency. HERO! Luckily we didn't have any emergencies, but it was so wonderful of him to offer. We'll definitely use them again for any formal occasions!”

“Albany Memorial ER is honestly the most amazing ER I’ve ever been too. The last time I went to an ER I was there for 14 hours, in a triage connected to the nurses corridors listening to them talk about running up peoples insurances, I had not eaten, was up for over 30 hours at this point, worked prior, and all I was there for was an ultrasound. They refused to feed me, I had to beg for water and ended up leaving without my discharge papers. I told myself I would never go to another ER unless I was unconscious or dying. I tried to go to UrgentCare but they denied me for having too many walkins. My friend referred me to Albany Memorial and it is the complete opposite of my last ER experience. They listened to every once of my concerns, even offered me a few other tests to help my concerns, went above and beyond to make sure I was hydrated, not in pain, comfortable, and all in a perfectly timely manner. I refuse to go to any other hospital.”

“Randomly stumbled upon this spot! We were driving from NJ to Montréal, Canada and hit the Albany area for a late breakfast/early lunch. The place is so cute! A bunch of small rooms, dark wood trim, fireplaces, old portraits. Food service was efficient and food was tasty. I had the chicken club sandwich-chicken was soft and moist. Fries were also great. Others in my group had the stuffed French toast (good, but wouldn’t call it stuffed. It was a breakfast sandwich with French toast bread), grilled cheese and potato soup (asked for white bread but received marbles rye, also the cheese was a thin strip, or gooey like you would expect), and a burger. Also had the maple latte-excellent! Very sugary but it was a treat so it’s fine. Also, we went around 10:30am on a Thursday. No wait to be seated.”

“We came here for lunch on a weekday, our orders came out promptly and everything was delicious! We had a mix of dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian) and there was something for everyone! Portion sizes were great, staff were friendly. The decor is great as well! For those in our group who hadn't tried vegan food before, they were pleasantly surprised, and also gave compliments to the "bacon". Looking forward to coming back again.”
