Welcomed into the store with sincerity and staff stopped what they were doing to assist me. They promised to call me once the floor sample arrives and I will love doing business with such a professional store.

While recently removing wall-to-wall carpeting in my 160-year-old home and having the hardwood floors underneath refinished, I learned that a hallway closet no longer had hardwood flooring, but plywood that was probably added in the 1980s. I decided a small piece of linoleum would be the best solution to cover up the plywood in the closet where it met the hardwood flooring at the doorway.

I went to Ted’s and explained my needs. Despite knowing this was not going to be a big sale for them, the manager was very friendly and generous with his time. He showed me a stack of leftover linoleum scraps in their warehouse from much larger jobs over the years, and invited me to look through them to see if any of the patterns appealed to me. Sure enough, I found a scrap I liked that was just the right size for my closet. He sold it to me for a very reasonable price, and after I brought it home and cut it down to fit my closet, it worked perfectly and looks great.

It is gratifying to find a family store like Ted’s that still takes the time to help a do-it-yourself person working on a very small project. If ever I have need for any kind of flooring project in the future, Ted’s will be the first place I go.
