Just wanted to say GREAT JOB by DAN. Lisa & I have been working with Dan on several new Provia doors. He really helped us with all of our questions even with our lack of knowledge in this field. Thanks Dan, made our new door quest super easy.

I experienced extraordinary service from Harbrook, specifically from Tom Brooks. We purchased a home in the Hudson Valley. A Unilux sliding door was having a little trouble opening. The door was installed by the previous owner many years before. I had low expectations of receiving any service. Tom personally visited our home many times to check the door, run tests, have an engineer visit. Eventually he was able to make some adjustments that improved the performance. While there was a fee it was remarkably low for all the care and attention he gave for a door we didn't even buy ourselves. It was almost as if there was a warranty, but it was simply a matter of standing behind the work his company had done many years earlier! We were so grateful and impressed. Thank you!

Update 2 - Finally got things resolved. Updated my rating to a 4 since they did finally reach out to resolve this. Turns out a prior employee never reached out to get the original sample back when we were originally doing the remodel. The door had to be stained from memory, leading to it being off. Not sure why that prior employee never reached out to get the sample back, but I can understand why that person does not work at Harbrook anymore. Since the door looked good overall, we had Harbrook stain some trim to match the door and call it good. They did offer to re-stain the door, but we didn't want to remove the door to get it re-stained. The guys that actually do the work know their stuff, unfortunate that this miscommunication happened.

Update - Harbrook finally reached out after this posting. They will have to come back in the spring to try to darken up the door. Will revise when work is done.

Fine enough, until something goes wrong. Ordered a new sliding door from them for a kitchen remodel. Took them up on their offer to stain the door to match the cabinets rather than ordering a manufacturer provided stain. Harbrook provided a sample they created that matched the cabinets very well, so I was originally happy with my choice. However, when the door was installed, it was a completely different shade than the originally provided sample they had given (picture below). I contacted Harbrook and they acknowledged the color was different and that they would get back to me. That was several months ago. They have not returned any of my follow up emails or phone calls since then. Ordering was fine enough, maybe just avoid their stain matching.

We recently finished our custom built house. We sat down with Tom and went over our design ideas. His expertise with Marvin windows helped us select the perfect match for our style. They add so much to the appearance and get so many compliments. We valued his suggestions on color, size and style. Harbrook enjoys a well earned reputation for taking time with its customers.

Harbrook Fine Windows is an amazing place to experience! We have purchased all our windows from Tom. He is great to work with, his staff is wonderful, they listen and help us make choices. I've been asked multiple times why we went with Marvin windows. One of the reasons, beside the fact that the quality is unmatched, is because of our experience with Harbrook. We would not go anywhere else!!
