Life.Church Albany

We just moved to Albany from the DMV looking for a church home.Mega churches were not our thing. But, Life church was the first of 3 churches we visited and we went back after the 3rd. Great atmosphere. Love how it is Multicultural. The word is authentic, grounded in scriptures ( which is something you don’t get in a lot of mega churches), not feel good sermons but ones that sanctify and convict you to live for Christ and follow him. I am always blessed and edified by the sermons. Plus, the multiple services are great for family with little kids like us. And oh their children’s ministry is awesome! Also one of the things we were looking for in a church. They email you follow up materials to discuss with your children during the week to keep them engaged in the word.
I will be honest, the prerecorded messages threw me off a bit at the beginning because I was not used to it. But, it makes sense for a church of the size so everyone is hearing the same thing to promote unity across campuses.
So many opportunities to serve and get involved, which is great!
And, once we became part of the church, I found that they are doing great things in the community and the world at large to impact it for God. And I am so glad to be part of it.

I feel so welcome here I love it everyone is so nice and respectful glad to be able to come to a peaceful place every sunday
