  We celebrated one of our colleagues retirement. The food was very good , alarge variety of appetizers that was more than enough. An entree with six different choices to choose from. Overflowing beer , wine and soda. Service was excellent and waiters very attentive. We would definitely return ????

  One of the best seafood restaurants on City Island, portions are HUGE, almost everyone leaves with food. The staff is very professional. They have great specials off of the menu, just ask. We were a party of 12 and the staff couldn't have been any nicer, Prices are not to bad for City Island. I had a Lobster Tail special, comes with soup, salad, Huge Lobster Tail, Baked Potato. Also the owner sent over free apps to the table, Thank you Jo-Jo. The owner is very "hands-on" and makes sure that everyone is happy with their meal. I will be going back for sure. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  As someone visiting from out of town, I found this place to be charming, a bit eccentric, and a true family run restaurant experience. Joe and his staff were exactly what I was looking for when visiting the Bronx for the first time - they were a bit loud and not afraid to give you a hard time about your choice in baseball teams. Some people might think this as rude, but I found it to be a part of the experience and had a great time bantering with them.
  
  Now, on to the food. Holy hell get ready for the largest portions of food you’ve ever seen. Coming from California, maybe I’m just used to small plates, but to say the portions are generous is a understatement! The anti pasta cheese and olive plate, salad, and garlic bread that they brought to the table was a meal in and of itself! I would have been perfectly happy with just that and a glass of wine. I ordered the swordfish and my friends ordered the salmon. The swordfish was the size of a porterhouse steak!! The seasoning was your typical seafood seasoning, but what I loved was the fact that there was garlic on everything. And I mean everything! From the fish, to the veggies, to the bread - everything. I love garlic so this did not bother me one bit.
  
  Overall, if you are looking for a good place to get a bunch of friends together over large plates of food, come here.

  We had a wonderful time here. The food was absolutely great. Been here once before under different management. And pretty much forgot that a even there. But anyway way the food was great. So was our drinks. The staff was great. Kudos to them. Would definitely be going back.

  It’s in the Bronx so think LOUD, frenzied, in your face. Sit inside. The wait staff are pleasant, fast and hard working. The portion sizes are enormous and tasty. Yum. Good pour on the cocktails. Thought the price point was good, this is NY after all. They also accommodate every one. Fun time. But if you want quiet and intimate, skip. Great for family birthdays etc. I definitely recommend and would frequent.
