Reading these other reviews I'm shocked that people are complaining about SHORT visits to the doctor. Like what do you all want for him to see and talk to you for like 1 hour at a time. He checks on your health, asks you how and what are you feeling, writes a script. It's all dead simple. These people that are complaining are really interesting. I love this doctor. I've been seeing him for the past 20 years. I live far away from the Bronx and I still go see him as my primary doctor. I hate having to visit the doctor when I'm sick. He is awesome. He get's me in and out quick. Checks on me, writes me the medicine I need and sends it to the pharmacy I need him to send it to. Very direct kinda guy he remembers me and my family members and cares. He has so many patients I don't blame him for being popular he's only one doctor! These people in these negative reviews mostly sound attention needy. About his assistants, patients need to understand they are not the center of the universe. These people need your info, give them what they need, shut up, and then sit down and wait for Baker to see you. That's all it is. They get rude and miserable people coming in all day after seeing so many people. Put yourself in their shoes. Just follow the status quo. If you need a wipey go somewhere else. I come in for Baker, not everyone else. He's the doctor. Once you see him and leave get on with your life. Baker is awesome. His workers are awesome. There's some comedy in watching them interact. Sometimes certain ladies are a little old and forgetful but hey just keep it moving tell them a joke make'em laugh a little.
I have known Dr.Baker for over 30yrs when he had his office over at Starling Avenue Bx,NY. He’s the most caring and compassionate doctor I know . He’s attentive and cares about you and how your feeling ! He gets to know you and your family ! I refer pts to him and will definitely continue to go to him! I have also known his older staff that have also been with him for all of these years! They are always very sweet and attentive as well! Thank you Dr.Baker!
