Throgs Neck Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

I was stuck in the hospital for awhile and I started feeling week, and after coming to throgs neck and doing the rehab here I started feeling a lot stronger (it might have something to do with the food :) the building is always very clean. Everything is done in a timely manner which makes my recovery a lot easier. The staff are very professional in reference to giving medicine and taking blood, they do it so well I don't even feel it.

I coached softball for a very close family friend when she was a child. Coincidentally I've known her aunt for 40+ years because we live 2 apartments down from each other. Her aunt somewhat recently had heart issues and had a bad fall which left her with many broken bones. She landed in Throggs Neck Rehab for a few months. She was extremely frail when she arrived there and after just 3 months she returned to our building and was looking so much healthier. She was back to her normal self which is being as active as possible. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked down from my terrace and saw her walking just 2 days after returning home. She was taking laps around the block simply for exercise. God bless that woman and God bless the staff at this facility.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility! From the minute you enter you are met with smiling faces and people who genuinely wish to help you and your loved ones. In spite of Covid times, they manage to give the best service possible. Although I never wanted to place my husband in any facility, I’m so glad he’s in such good hands.

Awesome staff awesome work ethic … thank you Dovid and Ms Moore for welcoming us and seeing us before my mothers discharge today. Andria for helping my mom you are an awesome nurse and human being. My sister and I commend your staff on your professionalism. Lastly to the therapy dept you guys rock my mom looked forward to therapy every day. Thanks to you all she is breathing and walking on her own (with a walker but it counts) when she couldn’t. We are so thankful we chose the right place for our mom.

I was in town to visit a close friend on 10/9/21 and was both happy and impressed with the cleanliness of the facility as well as the stellar staff who were nothing but accommodating and professional. Security was welcoming and friendly. There was specifically a young man who is a student and working afternoons at the facility. He was energetic, kind and respectful while ensuring he followed safety protocols with a smile. I don’t recall his name but he escorted me to the room and he has great customer service and his mannerism made me feel as though he enjoyed what he was doing. Great choice of talent and I am happy my friend is being cared for there. She too is happy with her care. Keep up the good work it makes all the difference I would definitely recommend you all if needed.
