Perfect Moving & Storage

The movers are fast and friendly. They arrived on time and didn't waste time while driving to the destinations.

While I did have an issue during the move the team worked with me to get it resolved. They are ultra responsive via email which I prefer over the phone.

One year ago we moved within New York with Man with the Van. With slightly more stuff, Perfect Moving & Storage was less than half the price, three hours pick up and drop off across town instead of five and a half hours, and the movers were all extremely professional, kind, thoughtful, careful, and fast AF. These guys are professionals, every single one - and so hardworking and friendly.

The dispatcher was also so communicative on email - so responsive and informative.

I cannot believe a move can be so fast, so easy, so low stress. It was the little things: they asked where we wanted everything to go, showed up 30 seconds prior to our appointment, on the dot - unlike any mover I've ever experienced.

They also were better prepared, lots of (clean) blankets, bigger truck, better tools, tons of dollies. These optimizations make a HUGE difference in efficiency and how much you end up paying. They has this cool box boat Looking then you can throw all your random odd sized possessions in and move in one go. Again, half the amount of time.

When you think about it, the longer a moving company takes, the more they charge by the hour, so the fact that this company does not do that speaks volumes to its business ethics. Also, not a single thing was damaged. Not even a dinged corner. Again, never happened in my dozen+ moves in my life.

Also no surprise charges at the end, unlike every other company I've experienced. I'll be recommending this moving company far and wide.

It is very risky when a company puts a word like "perfect" into its name because an adjective like that more often than not falls short of what the name would imply. But, it absolutely is the right word choice in the case of Perfect Moving because our move from Queens to Manhattan was absolutely perfect and flawless on every possible level.

I have very high expectations of people and places. And I did not expect our move to go as smoothly or incredibly well as it did.

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive and nervous going into the morning of our move, despite taking weeks to choose a moving company, and really researching them.

I even started analyzing all the top reviews on the Yelp pages of all the movers I was considering.

What ultimately pushed me to choose Perfect Moving was the number of "elite" member Yelp reviews, as well as the number of reviews of Yelpers with substantial reviews and photos on their page.

A few standout points:

1) Their rates and quote was more than reasonable and fair, especially compared to others. Very competitive.

2) Their rates are for the full job, not by the hour.

3) They were very (VERY) easy to communicate with, fast to respond to questions and continually in touch going into the move.

In fact a day or two before, they reached out to not only confirm but to go over what to expect, to review all the items I said I was moving in case there were changes (and thus save us from any unexpected or costly day of added costs) and to see if I had any questions.

4) There was a genuine and honest desire to provide the best, stress-free (or as stress free as any move can be) and easy move as possible.

5) They followed all the COVID protocols to ensure a safe move.

On the day of the move, the team leader of the Perfect Moving crew on our move was Rush. He called ahead to let us know they were on their way. They arrived on time (actually a few minutes early).

What was awesome was that from the minute we met Rush, he was so calming and polite and really put us at ease within minutes of arriving. I knew right then and there that our move was in good (and safe) and capable hands.

Rush and his crew were very careful with all of our boxes and items. And regularly he checked in with us to make sure we were happy and comfortable with what they were doing. Clearly, customer service, care and attention were the top priority.

They wrapped all of our furniture, paintings, mirrors and bedding protectively, so that nothing risked getting damaged. They took their time to do it right. Despite his name, Rush never rushed the job. They did what they needed to do to ensure that all of our belonging arrived safe and sound.

When they arrived at our new building we were stuck in traffic. Rather than start yelling at us or getting annoyed, they were very understandable and didn't charge us extra.

And we finally did arrive, they were fast and efficient and moved us in so effortlessly and flawlessly.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but there wasn't a single error. Nothing broke. Nothing was scratched. There were no marks on the wall. Everything arrived in the condition it was packed.

Rush and his team put everything exactly where we wanted.

Again, Rush and his crew of two continually checked in with us to make sure we were at ease and happy with the way they were doing things.

And when the job was over, Rush checked in a few days later to see how we did.

BTW, there were NO extra or hidden charges. What they quoted us is what they charged us, not a dollar more.

This move literally could not have gone any smoother, or, dare I say, more PERFECT.
