Great in the. Information .
this school is great. i went here when i was smaller the teacher are kind and are here to teach. they try to help you as good as they can and when every you need help they are there to help you
I have been a teacher at this school for 17 years and see myself nowhere else but here. I love the families and the students. The staff has developed a family atmosphere. Reading previous reviews is quite disheartening as general statements are being made about specific situations. No place is perfect and yes, I agree 16 has experienced a lot of change over the years. But this school has been able to maintain and provide a valuable education even with budget cuts and reduced funding for the arts.I can say there is a staff here that genuinely caresbfor the students and many will go above and beyond for them. Many of our students have graduated and done very well in life. Attending public school comes with many challenges but when you truly put your energy into being responsible for your learning by maintaining regular attendance, completing assignments, and having a positive attitude ( amongst many things) you can really make your experience a great one. I hope to be at this school until I retire as I love this school with all my heart and will not allow the negative comments to stand out over the positive that lies within the walls of PS 16.
