Dr. Karam is amazing. I had so much pain before visiting him. He did a great job fixing my teeth. I do not have any pain anymore. Very clean office and very friendly.

I get anxiety just thinking about the dentist so for me to call and make an appointment is a huge deal.
Its definitely a little confusing getting their since their office is inside a building but other then that I would highly recommend.
I been seen by three different doctors and I have NOT ONE SINGLE COMPLAINT. I had a root canal done and i would do it again if i had too because Woww their hands MAGIC!!! I didn’t feel a thing!!! Most dentist I have seen are very rough and go to the point but here made sure i knew what was happening, they were extremely gentle something I HIGHLY APPRECIATE.
Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and for making the experience pain free all around

I want to start off by saying, Dr. Karam is a nice guy. I’ve never seen a dentist until about a week ago, and he’s the second dentist I’ve seen. He seems honest, he seems to care and will speak with you at length if needed. He is human, and if you provide enjoyable conversation: he will reciprocate that 5x.

He is a passionate dentist and wants to best for you and the best for himself (important). His office and employees rely on him, so, I do believe he has your best interests at heart. If he doesn’t, he doesn’t have a business — which your satisfaction is based on his interests — staying in business!

I think his office can be a bit mis-understood via reviews that aren’t 100% positive. However, when you are great: you will have a very busy office; and Dr. Karam certainly has that. Given the busy office, that is also an indication of success and long-term client-patient satisfaction.

For me, it’s ok if a doctor’s office doesn’t always get it right with scheduling or insurance related matters — because we are human. However, focusing on patient care and the end result, those are reviews I can’t overlook. That being said, when looking at every profile of Dr. Karam — his patient care and end-results are up there with the best, if not the best. For practicing in an underserved community with clientele that aren’t always worried about their behavior or etiquette, he has been in business almost three decades. That’s definitely noteworthy.

Anyway, came in for a root canal inspection (sometimes the Dr. needs to check to see if he/she can do a job for you outside of his/her specialty before he/she can refer you); and he gave me a referral. He was honest and stated he could not perform this type of treatment. My insurance covered this treatment and there was a 50% chance he could’ve done so successfully — but, Dr. Karam cared more about the integrity of the work and my teeth over money. He could’ve easily tried treating my tooth, taken the money and left me holding the bag. He didn’t. That’s integrity and something that should be applauded, because frankly, many dentists and medical pro’s operate this way. It needs to be highlighted when a dentist doesn’t follow the path of bad seeds.

That being said, always manage expectations with your doctor. Sometimes, they can help you without you having to go to a speciality: like an endo or surgeron.

I think Dr. Karam serves his patients well above average, and is a skilled dentist. His team is competent and does get the job done efficiently (do not confuse this with quickly). You may wait 20-30 minutes beyond your appointment. However, that’s a good thing. It means the doctor doesn’t cut corners with other patients and that also means he won’t cut corners with you either — and it means he is busy; and busy means in demand. These are pros for me. In addition, always keep in mind that if a hygienist or assistant doesn’t meet your expectations, that should not always reflect on Dr. Karam. That becomes a disciplinary action for him to speak to his employee about.

I recommend Dr. Karam. I would always keep in mind that a dental practice is a business. If your insurance doesn’t work — that is something you’d need to understand. Supporting a dozen employees and rent requires getting paid. Insurance companies are notorious for not paying for services a doctor performs. Seems to me Dr. Karam has stayed true and didn’t become a bad provider over money, like many of his competition have done. To put this in context: I was referred to another dentist before Dr. Karam, and that guy had his license suspended for performing treatments patients did not need. Sometimes character is shown in time; and I’m sure Dr. Karam’s office weathered the storm; and when many insurance companies did not do the right thing by not paying for patient treatments or paying significantly less. That allows me to appreciate him a lot more, being in business so long and not building a track record of scam-like practices.

I felt the need to clarify some of the pros and cons. Ultimately, the big cons: not great parking
