(December 7, 2018, 6:54 pm)A great hike! Lots of parking to accommodate busy weekend traffic. Roundtrip to the lower lookout and back takes about 1.5 hours, depending on your fitness level (not more than that).

(November 1, 2018, 8:25 am)Mount Beacon is a challenging hike, with a very steep grade. It doesn't take up a whole day which is nice if you are looking for a shorter hike, but it's far from easy. The view at the top is beautiful, and there is also an old machine house which was used for a now defunct funicular.

(July 16, 2018, 8:43 am)Great way to spend a day. The first mile or so exhausting and very steep. But if you’re up for it I’d encourage you to go all the way to the fire tower and take in some pretty cool views
