(December 7, 2018, 11:43 am)Best place ever, please don't believe the lies about the VA. Study after study shows that the VA is the overall highest performing healthcare system in the country. I am so tried of the unfounded attacks on government agencies. I've been going here for 5 years now! I have nothing but positive things to say. So much better than Crystal Run...
(November 30, 2018, 2:05 pm)There are good Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons and overall support staff here. They care about you and you needs and situation. They will go out of there way to get you the things you need to get better. I don't have a problem with the care recievd here.
But, just like life, there is bad and the bad people are indifferent and some are plain nasty. Luckily, they are far and few in between. The pharmacy takes forever, but it could be due to the massive number of prescrpts they have to fill. The cafeteria food is really good, especially their chicken. The place is huge and sometimes hard to navigate the first few times. Wheelchairs are available for the impaired. To me, it is better than the other one, Castle point. Don't like that one at all! The VA in the Bronx is pretty good also. Overall good care and good caring people. Thank you to them all! Mike.
(October 7, 2018, 6:05 pm)My dad, been petrified of using VA his entire 78 years because of horror stories back in the day... today decided to go there for emergency. Was a great experience start to finish. Ridiculously clean urgent care, very caring staff
(August 10, 2018, 5:04 pm)I always heard horror stories about VA hospitals so I was extremely hesitant to finally go to one but I was glad I did. It's situated in a picturesque setting overlooking the river. The staff is always super nice, everyone says hey and asks you are doing when you are walking the halls. I love my social worker and psychiatrist because they actually care and it shows in their work. The receptionists in the primary care are amazing people too!
