(July 20, 2020, 7:06 am)Eastern Pearl is an excellent Cantonese restaurant on Maple Rd., just East of the UB North campus. If you stick to the classic Cantonese dishes on the menu, you won't be disappointed with the food. Initially, we were hoping there was going to be Dim Sum service (based on the photos on Google), but it turns out to be just a few Dim Sum dishes (hand-made) available as appetizers. The service at the restaurant is Westernized, so you don't have to worry about your non-Asian friends getting offended by the typical Asian restaurant service. Dining area is quite large and there is space for private parties. Lastly, there's plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to access.
