I have broken my foot and my leg among other reasons to have occasion to have to get medical supplies. This store is amazing. The care, the professionalism, the helpfulness, even the cost just makes you feel like doing business with them is literally a pleasure. And you can find unique things in terms of at home supplies, that you can't find in your normal pharmacy. I highly recommend them!

A Honeymooner’s Tale:

On the hallowed eve of our wedding, I was cutting a rug on the dance floor, as any good bride would do. I had many elixirs and potions after our devotions and thus, tragedy struck. My ankle rolled and I heard/felt the most unusual crack. I stumbled to my new husband and said “I think something is very wrong with my foot.” And yet, I still continued to enjoy my night. The next morning, it was clear: something wrong was indeed, afoot.

Surely a bride can rest the day after her wedding day? No. She can’t. She has to tear down the wedding she built AND she has to pack and get ready for her honeymoon. Hailing from a small town in central, Illinois— there is much that the east coast has to offer in October. The fall colors surround you as magick comes a little closer to Earth.

But, we didn’t have time to do our due diligence at home for my ankle/foot. Buffalo, New York was calling. So we did our best to make do. Like a chariot for a goddess, my husband chauffeured me in our Prius to beautiful Buffalo for our brief stay.

We spent the night in a historic home and the first thing my new husband did was locate the Sheridan Surgical Inc. and call. Dean picked up, heard my husbands story of the Bigfoot bride and told us to come as soon as we could and we would get taken care of.

Like a beacon of light, there it was. If heaven were a place on Earth, it would be Sheridan Surgical. We were helped promptly and I could tell that our arrival was anticipated. The friendly man who helped us out told us they were getting the “big guns” out for the bride.

While waiting, a couple also being helped congratulated us and told us their secret for a 64 year long marriage. (We can’t tell you). And down from the stairs like an angel, came Ginger ready to help.
She was so attentive, kind, and made this hiccup as smooth and quick as possible. She fitted the ankle stirrup on me and when I stood up and walked around, I cried. The relief I felt was instant and the gratitude I felt is enormous. She even ran across the way to get the Velcro just right. While away, Dean came to chat with us and we shared a laugh.

And just like that, I can now go onto Vermont and Massachusetts with a new lease on life. Although we had no time to explore Buffalo properly, this will be a highlight on our vacation. The hospitality and care that happens at Sheridan Surgical is one of a kind. Whatever reason brings you there, you are in the best hands you could possibly be in. They will take care of you!

Like a true midwesterner, this goodbye (or review) is long and overdrawn. So onto the rest of our honeymoon and I have no fear! Where would I have been if Sheridan Surgical were not here?!

My experience was wonderful. Everyone was kind, helpful and efficient. Denise or Ginger ( forgive me,im not good with names)cast my foot and did an amazing job. A delightful lady and easy to talk with. I recieved my shoes today and I absolutely love them. They fit perfectly. Thank you for all you did to make it possible for me to walk.

Justina is super. She helped my husband with the correct fit and style of compression stockings. She is a very patient and caring employee.
