Really enjoyed our first time stay. Everyone was helpful and nice. The only thing I would have liked is a dining area without screaming babies. But the property is fantastic and the views during our hikes was breathtaking.

Absolutely one of our favorite places to visit! Always have a wonderful time here when we stay.
Our last visit was for Christmas. And although there were some significant issues with one of our rooms, it was addressed and handled beyond our satisfaction. Thanks to the incredible management at Mohonk.
Beyond this, the atmosphere here is incredible. Norman Rockwell vibes. You feel like you're far away, in another time and place, but really only a couple of hours away from home.
I honestly cannot say enough about their cuisine! EXCELLENT!! 5 ⭐'s
    Staff is wonderful.
Stays here are inclusive, so most everything is included in your stay, including most activities and even gratuity. (alcoholic beverages are not included)
The spa is amazing and definitely worth visiting! (not included)
Best time to visit, imo, is the Fall. (October) Stunning views with the beautiful fall foliage is breathtaking. Plus, the weather then is still pleasant enough where you can enjoy everything Mohonk has to offer.
I honestly cannot recommend Mohonk Mountain House enough!

Feeling quite relaxed after a long weekend getaway up at Mohonk. We were lucky to have the fall foliage alongside some beautiful sunshine so we took many walks around the property, hiked up to the sky tower, canoed around the lake for a bit, & really enjoyed taking afternoon tea in the Lake Lounge.

The one thing I’d love to see adjusted here would be the meal-planning. We found that the only thing that “interrupted” our leisurely weekend was having to stick to a food schedule as we had to reserve our food times in advance. Any other all-inclusive we’ve stayed at had at least one “come and go as you please” restaurant arrangement for all meals of the day and 24-hour room service which is handy for those that are looking to get away from their normally scheduled lives. We absolutely loved being able to sleep in and go have a casual breakfast by the fireplace in the Lake Lounge and definitely preferred that to taking breakfast at a scheduled time in the main dining room. We were delighted with our Brunch at The Foundry as it was DELICIOUS and I wish we would’ve eaten there more but now we know for next time.

All-in-all, would definitely recommend if you’re looking to get away for the weekend and enjoy all New England has to offer. We’ll be returning with our kids, most definitely the same time of year as it was gorgeous!

Our 11th visit since 1977. They gave us the best room we have ever had at a cheap rate, and it was a beautiful suite. Service was wonderful. The food is more upscale than in the past. We are still able to do some hikes. The paths are well maintained. We enjoyed the 3 evening talks which were very informative and well presented.

Rooms are small and very expensive but lovely. Dinner in the main Dining room is great, lunch buffet is ok. We reserved a time in the Granary for dinner on Thursday night and were put in the main dining room because the Granary is closed on Fridays, which didn't make sense and just seemed like a miscommunication. So we had dinner Thursday AND lunch Friday in the main dining room (lunch was buffet and didn't seem necessary to make a reservation) and never got to check out the Granary.
The hiking was great, the lake was beautiful, the grounds were wonderful. The price is steep, but for a special occasion, this place is fantastic.
