Millersport Small Animal Clinic

We had received a terminal diagnosis from Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic and were told our dog needed immediate surgery costing around $3,000 in order to remove a very small mass on her leg. We called Millersport Small Animal Clinic for a second opinion based on referrals from a friend. I called close to closing time on a Thursday, and the owner, Dr Malo answered the phone. He was so kind and patient, answering all my questions. He made me aware he was not accepting new patients, however given our circumstance, he would make an exception and could see us that Saturday (less than 48 hours later). We were so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the clinic, the timeliness of the staff, how courteous and helpful the front desk staff was, and the tech was extremely gracious and patient with our anxious dog. Then we met Dr Malo, who embodied the same qualities of his staff. He quickly put our minds at ease that our previous diagnosis was likely incorrect but still recommended removal of the mass on my dogs leg to be safe. The estimate of this surgery was less than a third of the cost of Brighton Eggert. Today was surgery day, and the mass had gotten smaller over the couple weeks since our initial consultation. We saw Dr Malo prior to surgery, and when he inspected the mass and the size change, he said it was no longer necessary to complete the surgery. I appreciated his honesty and saving our dog from the anxiety and complications of surgery, rather than making a quick buck for himself. We will continue to see Dr Malo because of how empathetic he and his entire staff is, as well as their honesty and willingness to put the animal first. If he is accepting new patients, run to see him. Dr Malo truly is the best!

This vet is second to none. You can tell their staff genuinely love & care about the well-being of your pets. We love Dr. Waite, she has been tremendous with our pets over the years. They are always accommodating, honest, compassionate, and kind. They are busy from time to time, but have always been accommodating to urgent situations. I'd recommend them 100 times out of 100

Staff were very compassionate during our visit for our dog's medical emergency. The cost was also reasonable. Unfortunately they were unable to save his life, but overall I was still happy with the care they provided.

They managed to get my cat in, and the pandemic made this place extremely busy. But the staff was courteous and handled my kitten with care.

Just be aware they only spay or neuter on certain days, and there is a long wait.

But it's a fair price. I was not able to get her spayed because I was out of town on the day they could do it.

Still great, my kitten is now a cat, and they were able to help with her medical issue and provided great care for her. She may nor appreciate it but I do.

I’ve only worked with Dr. Malo so far so this rating is for him and the staff. Dr. Malo is so respectful, considerate, and caring. He always takes the time to explain everything in detail and gives me the space to ask questions. He’s so gentle with my pet and cares for her well-being greatly.
