I went on the Silo city river/walking tour last Thursday. Mike was my tour guide and he did a fantastic job entertaining a group of 35 people. I’m fascinated by old industrial architecture so this was a perfect tour for me. As a bonus, the boat had a well stocked bar. I’m looking forward to another tour next year.
Our family of 4 took the 2:30 River History Tour in early August. It was a windy day but our ride was amazing. The adults sat back and relaxed with a couple of beers while listening to Bruce's wide-ranging knowledge about Buffalo, and our kids were entertained by Captain Rich who let them pilot the boat. The crew was just so nice and even offered to take a photo of our family with Buffalo as the backdrop. We can't recommend this tour enough!
Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. The boat ride was comfortable and I enjoyed the history lesson. Definitely would recommend this tour!
This three part excursion: the harbor, the river and the canal with an outstanding narration deserved the spontaneous applause at the end. Especially exciting was going through the lock and under the functioning mechanical bridges.
Great idea! We did the history boat tour and it was very informative. Bruce used humor and personal experiences to enhance the history of the area. I highly recommend!
