As I am one of their “students”, don’t chuckle Dr. O’, because I am 70 years old! I feel that I have finally found a “pot of gold!” I had been searching for help for my binocular diplopia (double vision), for 3 years. Not one specialist had been able to help me or prescribe me a prescription to amend my double vision. I found the office of Dr. O’Conner all on my own. The whole entire staff is so extremely loving and caring! I couldn’t have asked for more wonderful people. As for my vision therapy, it is a 3 hour trip every week and I’ve not regretted one minute of the time spent. It is definitely worth a try! God bless you all!!

From my initial conversation with Vision Development of WNY, I knew that we found the right support for our son. I can vividly remember tearing up during the scheduling conversation and then bawling my eyes out at our evaluation. My son has always struggled with reading and what appeared as a lack of focus but was always very well behaved. We had school support and worked together as a family but weren't making much progress. The questions that were asked on call and during our initial evaluation along with the technology, I along with my child felt seen and heard for the first time ever. It's been a journey but over the course of six months we have experienced so much growth personally, energetically, and academically and are ecstatic. We always feel welcomed at VD and absolutely love the team. As a parent that felt like I was drowning in school work at one point to where we are now, I can't thank this team enough for how they've worked with our son and in such a loving way. ❤️

My daughter just completed her vision therapy program and wow- she is at such a different place now. Things have improved for her in all areas- she has experienced academic, behavioral, physical, and social improvements. I am so thankful for the absolutely wonderful doctors, therapists, and staff members at Vision Development of WNY. This was a big financial and time commitment for us and it truly paid off. Miss Kathy, Dr O and Dr Alyssa were devoted to helping my daughter. I will remain forever grateful for their patience and expertise.
