WNY Remodeling

WNY remodeling just finished a job for us, and I wanted to make sure it’s known what a quality contractor these guys are. We were expecting our first child, Troy got us on his schedule and got right to work. Troy was responsive, transparent, honest, and skilled.

I work with contractors for a living in highway construction. I made it clear I didn’t want to play games, and Troy made it clear that’s not how he operates, and he delivered on that promise. If he saw another solution that was better/cheaper, he called me right away. He would call while buying materials to make sure I approved of type and cost. He also went above and beyond when unexpected issues came up.

All in all, I would recommend these guys to anybody. You’re getting a fairly priced contractor who takes pride in his work, communicates effectively, and he and his crew are just genuinely nice, caring people. Thanks again for the good job, we will be hiring you again.

Troy and his team are very professional and a pleasure to work with. They are clean and respect your house while they are working in it. He is solution oriented and comes up with the best way to fix any problem they may come across. Excellent tile work and I appreciated their attention to detail.

We contracted Investment Solutions in 2020 to renovate our bathrooms and convert two adjacent bedrooms into a single master. Troy was very helpful to us in making design decisions, and put us in contact with a structural engineer to detail the framing necessary to ensure that the renovation would satisfy current codes. He also introduced us to an electrician who did the more involved wiring. In both cases, Troy did not take a cut of their fee. The quality of work from Troy’s crew was generally acceptable, although there were a few instances where I needed to contact Troy to point out poor work quality or mistakes. To his credit, in every case Troy agreed with our concern and quickly resolved the issue.

We had a previous remodel 20 plus years ago to the bathroom. It left us with a lot of apprehension to do it again, but it was time and necessary. Troy and his team came in. He understood the speed and special requirements and the timeline we had to get this done so my father could come home. He made his deadlines. He was not thrown with all our questions and concerns. When we ran into previous issues that had to be corrected, Troy would stop and explain and provide options. Troy would check in with us if a problem came up or a different change was needed. It was a relief to have that kind of communication. We faced supply and labor issues together (other trades or vendors), and he always tried to find solutions to get to the finish line. My husband and I have had many things worked on over the past 25 years in our home. We know not everything runs like the TV shows. We have worked with others who were ok, and we can say only a few are exceptional. Troy and crew are in the exceptional category for us. The attention to the details and design are wonderful. He truly loves what he does. We love our new bathroom! I'm definitely calling him when it's kitchen remodel time! Thank you for all your hard work and patience.

Completely revamped our outdated master bath and laundry room. Tile, drywall, shower room, countertops, cabinets, etc. Love the new steam shower and the tile work is quite amazing. The laundry room is my new favorite place to be:-) We had an issue with the shower a few months down the road and Troy came out with his electrician and rectified it for us. Took a little longer than anticipated but that was due to supply chain issues and Covid, as it seems everything is these days!
