  Our son started here at 3 years old. It has been an amazing thing for him to be committed to over the last three years. Many sports do not take children so young, but they staff here is welcoming and always willing to help the students. They get to know them and how to best guide them through the material and lessons being instructed. As I parent, I also appreciate the way they go over the importance of being kind, listening to your parents and most of all having respect for others.
  Take some classes and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

  Master Khechen's has been a positive place for my children. I have a son who was very shy and hid under tables in kindergarten because he did not want to be in front of people. We decided to get him in TKD classes and I couldn't be happier with the results. He started in April and by the end of his kindergarten year he was on stage with ever one else for his moving up day ceremony. When they say they teach confidence and discipline they mean it . They helped my son immensely and I couldn't be prouder of the progress he has made due to the patience and dedication of the instructors at this school. They even did all the could to keep the kids engaged during the pandemic. They set up an online academy immediately and offered weekly online classes to keep the kids on track. They even ensured the kids continued to their belt testing so they did not fall behind. My youngest definitely suffered some set backs because online learning is not the same but I am confident that now that he is back in class Master Khechen's will have him back on track in no tome. My oldest has really thrived here as well as he has the opportunity to participate in demo team which he loves and tournaments that he always thrives in. He loves going to the classes as well. If your child struggles with discipline or confidence I highly recommend this school. We recently moved father away from them and still would not even consider sending them anywhere else. Thank you for all you have done for my Boys.

  My kids have been attending this school for more than two years now. They enjoy it as much now as they did when they first started. The instructors are friendly and patient, and provide the kids the attention they need to master the skills they are being taught. There is a good balance of firm instruction and funny moments to keep everyone engaged. I would definitely recommend this school for first timers. They make the kids feels comfortable and help them learn at their own pace.

  My son has been training at Master Khechens In Hamburg for 6 years now since Summer of 2014 and he still smiles with excitement walking into class. My son has come such a long way in his overall development & focus. He continues to make progress in school because of his Martial Arts training. He wouldn't be where he is today without their help and support. My daughter age 4 joined January of 2020 and I love seeing her smile as she has fun in class. She is building confidence, coordination, and healthy habits. Amazing school, Fantastic Instructors, highly recommend!!!

  Our experience at Master Khechen’s Hamburg spans over 12 years. Our son started when they first opened at age 4 . Our daughter, who was three years older, eventually left dance to join the fun and not to be out done by our kids, my husband and I also became students. The fact that our entire family participated in this activity over such a long period time speaks volumes of what Master Wright and his team have to offer. Our daughter out ranks us all now as an Adult First Degree Black Belt. Anyone with daughters should know that gender is equal in this practice of martial arts and at this school. You show respect and bow to the highest belt no matter what gender or age. Respect, confidence, equality, discipline and inclusion are the tenants of this school. I can personally attest to inclusion as during my journey I had increased need for accommodations due to progression of a connective tissue disorder. What I appreciated most was that ALL the students helped me not just my husband and son who were now both Black Belts themselves nor just the adults. So I would offer that they also both teach and practice compassion. That’s what Master Khechen’s Hamburg is -family and I will take how people treat each other over what belt they have every day of the week!
