Loved it! Spent about three hours there this afternoon with my husband and 13 mo old daughter. Found lots of goodies. What fun!
Great fun for myself and my 7 year old! Brought home easily 50 fossils. You can find them almost effortlessly, or dig for them all day. Would definitely recommend.
It's a fantastic place. Especially for kids. With some small effort we were finding fossils everywhere just laying around in the designated areas. Some more serious hunters were specifically looking for a full specimen. There are big shelters with picnic tables and I wish we would have brought a lunch and stayed longer. Definitely going back the second time more prepared.
A fossil park that is great for selling and is doing a terrific service for paleontology education. I had a blast!
Geologists on site tell you all about your findings. You can bring home all the fossils you unearth! It's not only a dig site, it's a nature reserve. There's excellent birdwatching and astronomy opportunities all spring/summer
