The nurses and doctors were polite and respectful, but, seriously, those nurses. They were some of the sweetest and funniest people ever. From the beginning, I felt relaxed and noticed. Sometimes there's chatter between the care givers and I'm the onlooker, but not today. I was in the room today. I was given pain medication when I woke a little and said," It hurts". They know. I was given whatever assistance I needed to get to the bathroom- a lot- and it didn't seem to be any trouble. When you're my age, that's a big deal. I really do recommend this place if you can nudge your doctor over there. If your doctor goes there, lucky you. Honest. Thanks to everyone there, and my wonderful PA for staying connected with me throughout the day by telephone.”
