Well stocked facility. My wife and I visited to purchase a couple of kayaks with zero knowledge of the crafts. The assistance, knowledge and direction were beyond anything you experience these days. I am a big guy and they steered me to the best kayak for my weight and size (Old Town Sportsman 120). Another gentleman who was shopping there also strongly recommended the same craft as he is a big fellow as well. My wife found her perfect match after trying a few on. Paddles, PFD, and lots of pointers and I will certainly be back for more goodies.

I have 2 12' kayaks and we recently purchased a travel trailer and they did not fit in the back of my truck. I needed kayak racks installed within 24 hours as we were leaving for vacation. I called Joe and he had the correct Thule equipment for my Ford F150 and installed them the very next day. I highly recommend anyone looking for kayaks or accessories to give Joe a call.

Where do I start? Bought an old town 120 fishing kayak today. Greatest decision of my life. Spoke with Joe several times prior to purchase and himself and the team were they to greet me and show me around one on one. It was great. This baby looks awesome in my garage. Can't wait to hit the water and get some hogs. Military personal on deck so no B.S. just style and smiles. I will most certainly tell my friends. (already have) and I will definitely be back for the cart and mounts.

They seem to have a wide range of kayaks available to look at, they also have other peripherals to sell you. Their kayaks are not necessarily all overpriced but 'they ain't cheap' they are basically using online prices and then you have to pay the whopping sales tax of New York. The shop itself is great. The salesmen are nice, however they need to learn how to curb their language when dealing with a customer. On two different occasions (separate days with 2 different salesmen) I found myself wincing at the words coming from their mouths. The first time I went there I was with a friend of mine and he mentioned the same thing. A word of advice to any salesman, if your customer doesn't drop the four-letter words before you, don't use them in conversation.

*Edit* I purchased a Kayak that I had been long awaiting to purchase. Finally the right kind of features were offered in a kayak that I wanted. They matched price for me which was great then helped me find a few extra items to aid me in my first kayak experience such as tie-downs. They then helped me (and physically showed me) with the correct way to put that particular kayak atop my car. Very grateful. They have won me over.

When we got there oh, they were closed, they're closed Sunday and Monday. I never thought to call ahead, so I saw a phone number on the door and it said call for appointment so I did. They have a sign over the door on the inside of the shop that says and I quote, enter as strangers leave as friends. And that's exactly what happened. I called the number on the door and Joe the owner showed up almost immediately said he was just around the corner, and he would be glad to show me around and answer any of my questions. He has a excellent supplied kayak shop and carry several brands of kayaks including Hobie. He showed me quite a few models and help me decide on which one would be right for me. I had been looking online and found the pricing to be similar to the prices I had experience online. I met his son and his wife and they were wonderful people. I felt very comfortable, and listen to. I plan on returning hopefully with the ability to purchase a new Hobie. Great people well Stock Shop, with the bonus of knowing their product. Look forward to to purchasing from them soon stop in you won't be sorry.
