Floyd Bennett Field has four public campsites available for a unique urban, yet rustic camping experience. For more information, call 718-338-3799. Ecology Village, located at Floyd Bennett Field, offers a two day camping experience to students, ages 8-14.

Gateway National Recreation Area - NYC-ARTS
The Camping Leadership Course, offered only in the fall, is a ten-week course that teaches camping basics so that teachers may bring students on an overnight camping trip at Ecology Village. Project Feederwatch trains teachers to involve students in the research and identification of birds.
