  I was in a total rush to get my disc brake fixed so I could get out on my weekend long ride - had a terrible start with other problems, which I addressed, then rushed over to Urban. Fortunately they had the pad replacements I needed and the mechanic hopped on it for me right away so I could head out for my ride. No attitude, no irritation at all (unfortunate that this is what we've come to expect...). Like the other reviewers say, super great mechanic and really friendly. Highly recommended.

  Best bike shop experience I’ve had in the city! The staff (Russel?) is super knowledgeable, friendly and not presumptuous. Bring your bike here!

  The mechanic who runs Urban Cycles is the most knowledgeable and conscientious service provider that I know. He takes great pride in delivering a good product and is efficient in achieving repair and rebuild goals, saving both time and money.

  Very knowledgable no-nonsense mechanic who seems to be genuinely interested in helping you even if that means he can't help you there. Great parts available if you're riding a modern machine.
