  They have a Wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner for residents and family. There's a area with a Pond and Gazebo where you can relax and enjoy nature. They have a library with lots of books. Occasionally they bring in peopyto play guitar and sing with the residents which really helps cheer them up! ?

  We contacted Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center because we were looking for a location nearby to host a party. NCHHC has an event space that they rent out, Arthur Nilsen Banquet Hall. Renting the hall is reasonably priced, its very spacious and clean. The staff (Judy in particular) was very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions before we booked the hall. Great Space, Great Staff, we had an amazing party at this location.

  My Mom Joan S. came here for rehab after a major surgery. The staff were excellent with her. The rehab department was small but don't let that fool you they were diligent and got Mom on her feet and walking,she made excellent progress. The food was EXCELLENT, for my Mother to say "the food is so fresh and delicious" was honestly shocking! She also had a wound from the surgery that was picked up quickly by the floor RN as Looking a "tad swollen and she did not like how the redness looked. She sent her right back to the surgeon and thanks to her quick action it was corrected quickly,Yep the start of an infection. The building is clean and the Nursing Director is always available if needed. My Mom "Joan" unfortunately went home and had to go back to the hospital and passed away 10 days latter. Out of all the facility's she was in this was her favorite and she was looking forward to go back when she was re-admitted to the hospital, but that never happened.
  
  I sincerely thank the staff of the Norwegian Christian home. I realize this review is glowing and some may think I was asked to write this I assure you I was not.

Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center felt more like an old-fashioned type of nursing home, and it wasn't really accessible. They had a beautiful courtyard with a beautiful pond, but it didn't seem to be very well utilized. The rooms were almost like hospital rooms.
