George's Barber Shop

I usually come here every couple months, and they're pretty reliable. Overall a good neighborhood barber shop to come to, would definitely recommend.

Just moved here, and Ilyas was solid. I get a pretty straightforward cut with a #2 around and thinned and trimmed up top.

$35, cash only. Took about 15 minutes. Fast and efficient and good. Will come back!

They’re open hours slow me to visit first thing in the morning and revive a guaranteed good cut. The barbers have great memory for your likes and have always been open to suggestions / questions. I also genuinely enjoy chatting with their barbers and can always anticipate a welcoming environment.

They did that!!!! He is very friendly funny and great at haircuts and shape ups. Great with kids!

TLDR: Great shop, friendly staff, and fantastic price for the area ($20 for students, $27 regular). Definitely going back, and would definitely reccomend.

Just stopped in after a day of classes to get a much needed cut (shaved sides and 3-5'' scissors on top). The shop was empty when I walked in, and I was welcomed and served immediately. Told him what I wanted and he went at it, having me check throughout the process to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. He even offered me and the other client waiting a beer/shot (included in the price of the cut) which is always nice. We engaged in small talk and he finished up with a hot foam shave. Overall this was a great find in the Clinton Hill / Fort Green area and you CANT beat the PRICE! Especially for students! Many other shops charge 35-55 for essentially the same cut. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a great barber experience!
