  K is a very professional and talented hairstylist. K did my husband’s hair, then she became my go to person to get my twist braid or crochet hair styles. She does an excellent job at meeting her client’s hairstyle needs. She is always interested in if I like the style as she does it. She is very friendly and has a great personality as well. I will recommend K to anyone for their hairstyle needs. They won’t be disappointed.

  Hi! I've been wanting to get my hair braided and sport a new hairstyle for the summer, for a few weeks now. So I started googling for a good salon and my search led me to Hairstyles by K. I must say, I'm so glad I found this spot. The website was easy to use and in a few minutes, my appointment was set. I went for a bold look and decided to go with butterfly faux locs.
  Appointment day arrived, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but nonetheless, I was excited. K was friendly and puts you at ease from the moment you walk in the door. She asked me why I had chosen the hairstyle and if I was ready for it, as it was a significant change. I had been researching this style for weeks and just felt good about it.. so YES! I was ready! Honestly, most places you go to don't even ask where you got your inspiration from and just start doing your hair. I appreciated that small detail.
  She started off by washing my hair and then off to the stylist chair. It took time. Approximately, 4 hrs. She worked and I watched. It's amazing to see the art happen. I can truthfully say that it was worth the time and money. I love my hairstyle! All I've gotten are compliments and all I can be is grateful that I found a great stylist. Even my bestie wants to go and get her hair braided now too! I definitely recommend this salon. The simple fact is, K has gotten a new loyal client and I look forward to the next Hairstyle by K!

  So I have been getting my hair braided since I was a young child and I have been to all different kinds of hair salons. This is BY FAR the most efficient, affordable and comfortable braiding salon I’ve ever been to. The owner, K is amazing and runs a very professional business. And Della is my hair braider of choice. She is one of the best braiders I’ve ever had. And every time I get my hair done there I always get compliments. I highly recommend this braiding studio to anyone but especially to those of us who lead busy lives and don’t have time to wait. Their online scheduling system is great. Literally the best hair braiding studio in Brooklyn.

  I was looking for a salon that installed knotless braids. So I googled "Braiding Salons in Brooklyn" Hairstyles by K popped up, I checked the reviews.. everyone gave positive feed-back so I decided to give them a try.
  I had the best braiding experience! The reviews just scratch the surface!
  Salon is modern and clean, the stylist are all professional and polite. Della was my stylist, and Yanika assisted at the end of my service.
  They offer many other services and they have their own line of hair-care products. Hairstyles by K has a new customer 👍❤❤

  I’m a recurring customer here! Kanga is great, she braids fast & they’re flawless! She also makes sure you like the braids while braiding, which gives you a chance to request modifications.
