Dr. Sara's House Calls

Dr Sara house calls was a wonderful first dental experience for my 21 month old son. Being at home was a great advantage and her care and attention with pre videos, puppets and teddy dinosaur with teeth was such a great way to engage my son and prepare him for his own check up. Highly recommend her. She is warm, friendly and very professional.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Dr. Sara Fikree!

My son was always very anxious when we’d visit a dentist in the office. They weren’t always very patient and attentive and he could sense that. In this being, when I came across Dr. Sara I automatically jumped at the chance for her to come and visit our home and examine our son.

She arrived with smiles, putting us all at ease. With her were puppets and she played our son a video that he was intrigued by. She had him lay down and with little complaints allowed her to “count his teeth”. She’s very patient and really told him about the process which obviously helped ease his anxiety.

It was really a good experience that made him realize how important it is to take care of his teeth. We love “counting” teeth now.

After the appointment, she sent us a summary of the visit and her recommendations. She is still in Contact when needed and we really appreciate her!

If you or your child are hesitant about their upcoming dentist visit, we HIGHLY recommend Dr Sara Fikree, the awesome pediatric dentist who comes to your home!!! We just had our daughter’s first dental check up ever (she is almost 2) and could not be happier with Dr. Fikree’s home visit. The doctor was super prompt, came on the dot at the scheduled time, (talk about fitting things into your busy schedule- no commute and zero wait time for your family, and if you have other kids/babies at home- no need to drag them with you!)
The visit, exam, and cleaning itself was completely trauma free, with puppets, fun dentist tools to examine and play with before they go in the child’s mouth, songs, laughs, and lots of useful info and advice for the parents.
Such a hassle free, fun and positive dental visit experience!

I can highly recommend Dr. Sara's house call service, especially if your child is anxious about going to the dentist. It was my daughter's first dental visit, and I was apprehensive that she would not co-operate. Dr. Sara was gentle and friendly and my shy daughter warmed up to her quickly. Not only did my daughter surprise me by allowing everything to be done, but she ran into her room and came back with her Doll so Dr. Sara could clean and check her Doll's teeth too! I was extremely pleased with this highly personal experience -- Dr. Sara took plenty of time to answer all my questions, shared some great advice, and followed up with a thorough email about all her findings. It was not the typical experience where the health care professional just spends a cursory 5 minutes and then moves on to the next. Dr. Sara doesn't accept insurance, but her fees seem reasonable - they are about what I would pay at a dental office. "
