New York Therapy and Wellness - Physical and Occupational Therap

I came upon NTTW purely by chance . I’d been having back problems for 18 months & had tried many PT’s but my situation really didn’t change until I met Daniel .
He figured out exactly how to help me . He is the smartest most caring & intelligent PT I’ve encountered in my life of mishaps !
He worked out programs that both challenged & interested me whilst at the same time I learned a lot . I can’t say I’m totally cured however I understand what’s going on with my spine & will continue to recover . I am now able to do tasks that I have not been able to do for the last 18 months ie Driving ! What he’s done for me is made me realise that I can now cure myself with his program. .
The office & ALL are attentive & caring . The facility is spotlessly clean well designed & cheerful. . I absolutely loved my visits there . Not to mention the lovely Margot who’s in & out with her cheerful smile & caring nature

New York Therapy and Wellness literally changed my life. Dan and his wonderful staff not only helped to heal my injury, they educated me in preventing further injuries with strengthening exercises. Dan is extremely professional and so patient..He genuinely cares about each individual and gives personal attention to every client. I can’t thank Dr. Daniel Rusinowitz and the staff at New York Therapy & Wellness enough for their care and kindness during the months I’ve been coming to physical therapy. What used to be daily severe pain is all but gone.

I had been having daily migraines that had an extremely negative impact on every aspect of my life. I was trying everything I could, and found some intermittent relief through acupuncture and massage. Through this, I learned that my problem was muscular, but those methods were quickly becoming unaffordable. That’s when my neurologist recommended PT.

In my first session, Dan identified the issue and came up with a plan for strengthening the weak muscles that were at the root of the pain. He put together a home exercise plan for me. With each subsequent session, we talked about how the migraines were going, what was helping, and added more exercises to the plan.

The results made it clear that PT was by far the most effective migraine relief I have tried. My pain was gradually letting up, as was my dependence on my prescription medication. Coming into the office was always a positive experience, since everyone is always very kind and friendly and the place has a calm, serene vibe.

I am grateful to have found a way to take care of myself through exercise rather than through medication or giving into to constant pain. I am also physically stronger, and continuing my exercises at home and at the gym.

Now that the constant pain that was holding me back is gone, my life is abundantly better than before I came in. Thank you so much!

This experience was amazing from the minute I walked in the door. The front desk staff was courteous and genuinely friendly. Dr Dan is extremely knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint my issues quickly. He was patient and explained everything to me very clearly. He put together an entire at home exercise regimen for me and demonstrated everything in person. I was so happy when I left because I knew I was on the road to recovery!
