NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island

I gave birth here Tuesday to my son I had a C-section from the moment I walked into labor and delivery everyone was very welcoming and nice my surgeon Dr. Dunn was awesome and very careful. Nurse Joanna, Nurse Ramenu and Nurse Lianna M. Was the best they treated me so good and and my son. No matter how many times I called on them they was very eager to help and give me whatever I needed with no problems. They spoiled my son 🤦🏾‍♀️🥰but I appreciate them very much 🤗 thanks ☺️

I could go on and on about hospitals lacking resources but that’s an America problem. Overall, great staff from nurses to doctors. Granted, I only had all women doctors (which I prefer) so I don’t know about the male doctors. The doctors listened to me and are clearly passionate about medicine. I know I was in good hands and I felt cared for the whole time. If you don’t have health insurance, I highly recommend going there cause they will take care of you and make sure you sign up for insurance while there! Also, the staff is LGBTQIA+ friendly so you won’t be discriminated against. Obviously the food is terrible but that’s not what you go there for! It you ever lack health, do not hesitate to go there!

Just got my COVID-19 vaccine here, it was amazing, quick, and easy!! My nurse was really sweet and kind and let me know everything I needed to know before taking the vaccine, they even gave me a sanitation pack after, and made me wet a couple minutes after raking it to make sure I’m okay. 10/10 experience and hospital ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was at emergency. Stuff were polite and I was treated with care and respect. They gave me a comfortable room to spend one night before a procedure. Stuff checked almost every 30 min is everything OK or not. My room was perfect. Thank you for your service.
