Excellent meals to go including roast chicken, meatloaf, meatballs, eggplant, roast veggies and delicious sandwiches! Menu changes daily.
I've never been disappointed by anything Joe serves. The sandwiches are great (but only served until 2 I think), the meatloaf is my favorite but you can't go wrong. As far as the prepared foods I recommend the pesto, snow peas, and if he has any the eggplant parm. Best eggplant I've ever eaten, the layers are so thin it's a work of art.
Best deli counter in the 'hood. No doubt. Sandwiches or prepared foods, it's all 11/10.
Brancaccio’s is one of those places that will make you feel like a New Yorker. This small, Windsor Terrace staple serves up legendary food (including a meatball sandwich, for which they are known) in addition to some specialty groceries and I believe they also do catering. This generational eatery will not disappoint, as my partner and I regularly walk over to grab sandwiches before making another pit stop at Steeplechase next door for some coffee. This is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn, in fact I’ll be strolling over there later today for one of those sandwiches I mentioned. They sell out, so you should go there now. Although they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
