“Good outdoor seating. Self serve water. Great service. Friends were satisfied with the food. Four stars just because it seems like they're a sports bar that hasn't come to terms with that fact yet. (no sound during games that the whole place is watching; a single TV showing Black Mirror(?) during the NBA finals)”

“We were skeptical at first before deciding to order from this place because it didn't have the best reputation, but we heard about them having a new management recently and we decided to give it a go and we're so glad we did! We ordered safe options that we always order elsewhere to play it safe, the samosa and the paneer makhani. we also went and had the cauliflower dumplings just out of curiosity. To put it simply, the food was amazing. The samosa was fresh, crunchy and flaky from the outside and soft and hearty from the inside. The paneer makhani was one of the best we ever had, rich, hearty, savory with a hint of sweetness! The cauliflower dumplings were tangy, sour and rich in flavor. The food overall was not overwhelmingly spicy which was good. We're so happy we finally have good authentic Indian cuisine nearby. They gave us complementary treats that we did not order which was a nice gesture. would definitely recommend.”

“This place was recommended to me as one of the best jerk chicken in Brooklyn and I decided to give it a try. First of all, I couldn't not believe in this day and age a restaurant only accepts cash! Make sure to walk with cash if you do decide to try. Overall the jerk chicken was decent but a bit salty, I'm from Florida I've had better jerk. Rice and peas was really good, fried plantain was too thick and not fully riped and steam cabbage I enjoyed.”

“Absolutely sublime. A neighborhood treasure and worth the trip to cobble hill if you don’t live in the area. Exemplary Presentation, service; and creative dishes. Noteworthy knife work on the dishes to boot. Always a fan of tapas sized dishes for a tasting style meal. Totally worthy of a Michelin star. A seriously incredible value for cuisine at this level.”

“My kids like KFC, that's why for the lanch today we decided to have a food on Kentucky Fried Chicken. We You know, as everywhere Chicken was good, soup, pasta and French Fries were also good. In contrast to our previous visit to KFC in Miami, service was perfect. Bathrooms were very clean, I was surprised. Thank you for everything, we'll definitely come again. If, your ever in the mood for some good ole southern banana pudding, this is a must try. I promise you, you’ll want more. For, all you who don’t do diary, did I mention it’s totally VEGAN!!! 😋Everyone thank me later 😊”

“The food here is amazing! Sometimes it can take them a bit long to get the food ready, but I think it’s worth the wait. I loved the dine in option they had before COVID, but since then I think people stop choosing the dine in options anymore, but take out isn’t bad either. I’ve been getting take out from them. Would definitely recommend to eat at this place, especially if u craving for some spicy food at night.”

““The Jamaican” sandwich is just INCREDIBLE. Every bite I am just amazed at the perfect combination of flavors from the melted cheese, to the tangy jerk chicken sauce, the sweetness of sweet plantains, and the smooth touch of mayonnaise. The toasted French bread has the perfect texture that you would associate with a Bahn Mi. This sandwich is a living demonstration of mastery and perfection. The owner is super friendly and kind. Portions are really generous. Great Brooklyn vibes from the decor. I just love this place.”

“This is probably the cutest cafe in New York. I passed by and saw the cute pig plushies all over the window display and knew I had to go in. They have a bunch of adorable pig-themed products, snacks, desserts, and drinks. I love that they have non-caffeinated options for drinks. I ordered a milky mango drink, it was delicious! I love this spot!”

“Today was the first time me and a friend went to Peppa's. My friend lives in Brooklyn and heard the food was good, so we ventured out and drove there. I can see why most people order for delivery or pickup if you don't live within walking distance because it's hard to find a place to park. But we finally got a spot. We walked in looking for a menu, but none was posted. The only signage was cash only; ATM inside. No one greeted us; no "Order Here" sign; everyone seemed too busy to acknowledge us. We finally just started asking what do you serve, where do we order, what's this & what's that while looking at the hot serving table. A long story short, we finally placed our orders of one large stewed chicken plate & one large fish plate. Me and my friend, who is 81 YOA, was very disappointed in the lack of customer service, lack of communication from the staff, and some seemed annoyed that we asked questions. Once we got to my friend's place and tasted the food, it was very tasty. We were happy with the food; the food was good. But please consider posting the menu, ordering instructions for walk-ins, and give customers the impression you appreciate their business ... even if you're busy filing orders.”
