“Irving was amazing! I felt like he knew how to handle my thick waves and understood my hair. He did a dry cut (which I always prefer) and then touched up after my hair was washed. He was so nice and easy to speak to and now my hair looks healthy and has a great shape and texture. Totally left feeling cute and pampered! I will be back for sure :)”

“Super happy with my style! I made an appointment with Chad His experience was worth every penny!!! I came in to fix up a botched haircut. Firstly, I loved his energy and how nice he was. He made me feel very good about my hair. I showed him some pictures of what I was going for and he took time to look at the pictures and ask me questions. He was very detail oriented and knew exactly what to do. He took all my requests and questions seriously and gave his own input to make sure my cut came out perfect! I really appreciated his attention and energy and of course how he fixed my hair! Me and my husband really loved it (hubby has to look at me, right!?) I know price might sometimes be a deterrent for people but in this case, it's really what you pay for. He is very skilled!!!”

“If you’re looking for a great beard trim for a low price, look no further. My barber Dennis knew exactly how to shape up my beard to fit my face. He was also very friendly and welcoming.”

“Place is all that and my barber Dennis has the clippers on lock. He operates his tools the way Michelangelo handled his paintbrush-with deft precision. I called the shop after I spent considerable time perusing the internet in search of a competent barber who focused on his clients and not every piece of a#$ that walked by the store. I've never left a barber in my life unless I was moving. But my last stylist was too busy running numbers, eating hoagies, scoping women, watching tv, and gabbing with every Tom, Dick and Harry that walked through the door. This prologue is relevant because, the attention that a barber gives to his client in the seat goes a long way towards developing and realizing the image and appearance you are trying to achieve. This is what Dennis does. When I first spoke to him on the phone, we talked for almost ten minutes. I was telling him about the praise customers were giving him on the shop's website. He was very accommodating. We talked about his hours and if he had a portfolio. He gave me his cell number and we stayed in touch. I get to the shop and he greets me enthusiastically. When I get into the seat we exchange pleasantries. He thanks me for giving him the opportunity to cut my hair. He was so genuine and humble. I showed him some styles I was looking at but he let me know that the images on the internet were highly stylized and not representative of a cut specific to each headshot and hair grade. Dennis came up with a nice concept and I just put my trust in his hands. Dennis took his time during every step of the haircut. We talked about how he got started. He watched You Tube videos of a barber and he was cutting the hair of his friends because he enjoyed doing it. He just loves what he is doing. He was philosophical about it, like why live your life doing something you don't enjoy doing? He is an entrepreneur in the truest sense. He was talking to me explaining every step of his work. His edge up work with the razor was super tight. He gave a nice suggestion about not taking off the entire beard from under my neck. His input was welcomed because I've never been offered a suggestion from my barber before. In the past, it was more like, this is what I want and they gave it to me. Dennis communicated with me and I learned about how committed he was to the customer's need to look his very best. When I got out of the chair I was extremely satisfied with my haircut. From my first phone conversation until the final swipe of alcohol and oil on the back of my neck, Dennis showed nothing but class, patience, and exhibited a professional demeanor. The shop is fun, lively, and clean. All of the barber's were cordial and every patron that entered was greeted warmly. The haircut was $30.00 with the beard trimming. This price seems to be the standard for a cut so I am good with it. I will be back to see Dennis bi-weekly. This is a young brother on the rise and he will be the man who keeps me looking on point as long as I am in the area.”

“I was visiting NY and wanted to get my hair cut and colored. It's always risky trying a new stylist but I was in the mood for a change on my trip. I went through a ton of G+ reviews for different salons and based on the reviews and pictures, I decided to come here and asked for Jessica. Jessica was super nice, I showed her pictures of what I wanted and we discussed color options. I was a little hesitant because I was cutting off a lot of hair... but she did not disappoint. i loved my hairstyle and my color! I went with ombre and the color still looks great. I've received so many compliments for it. Next time I go to LA, I'm going back to see her! Hopefully she's still there!”

“I dropped by as a walk-in needing a haircut and a beard trim. The place seemed to be popular, and was busy even though it was mid-day on a weekday. I expected to wait, but Billy was able to get me in right away. Billy mentioned that he doesn’t cut straight hair very often, which makes sense since I was the only white guy in the shop. Although this may have given rise to some reservations since straight hair isn’t his specialty, it turned out that I was in excellent hands. Billy did a great job. He took his time, asked plenty of questions, and cut my hair with more care than any barber I’ve ever gone to. It’s clear that Billy, who has been cutting hair for over two decades, loves his job. He’s great at it. He’s also a good conversationalist, and I enjoyed chatting with him and the other customers. The shop has a great neighborhood vibe. I am happy to say that I have found my new barber.”
