“I wish I could rate this school 1 million. Yes the academics are rigorous...however the children do get to have fun and express themselves through music and free time. Any parent that is concerned about "the pressure" that is being placed on their child should actually take the time to visit the school and watch how the children interact with their teachers. They are lively, interactive and fully engaged! ALL of the teachers are dedicated to the overall well-being of each child and know their INDIVIDUAL strengths and weaknesses! These kids are more than blessed and I would not change where my 1st grader goes to school for anything in the world! Kings Elementary students/scholars WILL INDEED CHANGE THE WORLD!”

“Stelios is a wonderful teacher. His style is creative, stimulating, fun, and challenging!! He has an impressive education and teaching background, and is a talented musician and composer. Often we use the voice and other instruments to help in the learning process. It’s been a path of learning to play the guitar and of personal growth, and Stelios has been a most inspiring mentor.”

“Excellent teacher. Only immature students who are going to waste time are the ones who harm it. But class and learning is excellent. Just focus on your learning and not getting together with anyone. !!! Luck”

“We love Musication! We started with our child attending camps, which we absolutely loved. And then began taking private piano lessons for 5 years. Eva is an amazing teacher, both nurturing and challenging, incredibly creative in her approach. Jeremy from Musication runs a wonderful program. They are flexible, communication is excellent, and they will work with you to find a good teacher-student match and accommodate schedule and other needs. You won’t find a better musical home for your family!”

“My son LOVES Quentin Road KinderCare, and so do I! He's 15 months old and has been going to this location since he was 13 weeks. STAFF: The Director is a superhero and the teachers are amazing! They are all always so kind and loving towards my son. Teachers in other classrooms know his name and greet him/us in the hallway. My son generally clings to my husband and I when we are in group settings, but most days he won't even say a proper goodbye to me at dropoff because he is so excited to be at KinderCare. FACILITY: It's always clean and often seasonally decorated. They feature pictures of their staff, students, and students' art throughout the building which makes it feel very welcoming. For security, there is a keypad lock on the front door. CURRICULUM: Each month has a creative educational theme with daily activities to match! Additionally there are monthly spirit weeks. Occasionally they host special events that parents are invited to attend. Twice a year a professional photographer comes in for picture day. As each major holiday approaches - we are given a craft my son made centered around the holiday, and it's the perfect amount of take-home art. TECH: KinderCare uses an app to communicate center updates, record details about your child's day, and share photos. Knowing when and how much my son was eating was a huge benefit to me while breastfeeding. Now that he's older, periodically checking the app is a way for me to feel connected to him while I am working. Before choosing Quentin Road KinderCare, we looked at several options. I am certain that we made the right decision and have recommended the center to other parents. :)”

“I love visiting Williamsburg Northside School in Williamsburg! They focus on preschool and elementary aged children. The staff is great, and they focus on the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Be sure to check out the great art work on the walls and don't miss the video on their website showcasing a day in the life of WNS. Williamsburg Northside is a true gem and if you live in Brooklyn, I recommend you send your children here for a great private school experience!”

“I personally think Ascend in general provides a great atmosphere & curriculum for the students to learn and elevate. There are always bad apples in the bunch sometimes but that's everywhere. I just feel like SOME of the teachers need to be a little more compassionate towards the students. Everyone is different and you don't have to be so harsh ALL the time ; especially with kindergartners. Overall ASCEND has a great system and I hope they keep growing and being successful. They prepare the kids for the future and that's most important.”
