“Wow, this is the BEST Dollar Tree in the NYC area! I went to six different dollar trees leading up to Thanksgiving seeking out a few particular items they had. What I encountered wasn’t ideal, dirty stores, carts filled with boxes blocking aisles, a few stores I couldn’t even get down HALF the aisles. Shattered products, shelves a disaster etc.it was frustrating. I got up Saturday for one last try, traveling 30 minutes out to this Park Slope location that came up on Google maps, but not in Google for some reason. It was pristine, clean, neat and tidy shelves, fully stocked and no aisles blocked. Even better, I asked the staff for help locating an item, they knew exactly what I was talking about, where it was and were incredibly friendly. I was so impressed, I sought out the manager to thank him and let him know how much I loved the store and even he was a total delight. I was on a mission today but I’ll be heading back to throw as much business as I can to support this store. It may be a $1 store but it felt like a high end shopping experience.”

Once again, he treated me like family - first explaining every expected charge that I would have for this visit and then directed me to the waiting area / lounge where he showed me to a comfortable spot. He told me approximately how long the service would take and pointed to the refreshments. I read my book for 75 minutes, he called me , went over my bill and everything was exactly as expected. My Dad was a car dealer and I grew up working part time (during college) in the service department at a NY dealership and know how it operates.
