Calvary Chapel of the West Side

My daughter goes to this church and when I say that I mean my daughter goes to this recreational building to “play” she has learned NOTHING about God here. She only goes there to play and jump around.

The Pastor literally thinks you can choose God like you choose a pair of shoes? …You choose the right one and you go straight to heaven, you choose the wrong one and you go straight to hell? …There is no choosing. Nobody has God. No religion, no country, no race, no man has God. God has all of us, the Christians, the Buddhists, the Muslims, the Hindus and even the ones that don’t believe in God at all. We don’t make God, God made us. We don’t choose God, God chose us.

This place is a business and nothing more. It is a tragedy when the church saves money instead of saving souls. We MUST spend to save.

I like this Church. It's a teaching Church. Great music and a sermon that will teach you something about being a better Christian through the Word of God. If you're interested in becoming a Christian or a Christian wanting more you can't go wrong with going to this Church. Visit at least two Sunday's then decide. I believe you'll see and feel a difference.

Love this church! Going on almost 27 years now, and still finding solid Christ-centered teachings that encourage and challenge my walk with the Lord. Wonderful group of people who love Jesus. I highly recommend making this your church home!!

I have gone to many churches over the years(yes since the day i was born). I actually grew-up in this Church til I was 11 and life lead my family in other directions. Came back and then we left again, but in January 2013 I made this Church my home. Why? The love of God rings throughout, the teaching is spot on and not fluffy. You will not hear a topical message every time you come, but instead line upon line. You start in a book(lets say John), and Pastor Dave will read it til the end(might even just take a few verses at a time). Love the people who attend, the worship and the way you are ushered into the presence of God. I know the more you come, the more you will grow in Christ.

I love this church! So full of the love of Jesus--holding the Lord up on high and glorifying Him through worship, the teaching of the Word, the fellowship, and every aspect of ministry--first and foremost. There is real love and concern for one another, which starts with the love of our senior pastor, Pastor David, and all of the pastors, leadership and staff. The Bible is taught faithfully in a dynamic and real way, every week! You will not be able to attend this church regularly and NOT be changed more and more into the image of Christ. Please come, join us, and find out who Jesus really is and how much He loves you! This has been my church for over 10 years--nothing but love.
