Curiosity shop

Unique place with unique skills. They are truly one of a kind in the upstate area and they know their trade very well. This is not the place to go to if you are looking for a quick job. They will take their time and are methodical when fixing any timepiece making sure you don't have to keep coming back. Make sure to tell them if you need the piece back within a certain time frame because if you don't if could take weeks or sometimes even months until they service it. I definitely recommend going here.

Thus is a great shop to be treasured. They fixed an antique French clock, no prob., sold me a really nice watch, and re-battery my watches while I wait. Skilled and courteous.

I just picked up my 190 year old wall clock from Curiosity Shop, and I am thrilled with their service. I've had the piece for 40 years, but it had stopped working several years ago. The expert team at Curiosity Shop took extra pains to not only get it running again, but replaced numerous parts, cleaned and polished the remainder, then made sure it was running correctly, before calling me for a pick-up. Their service charges are more than reasonable for the expert work they do and they provide a one-year warranty on that work. It's no wonder customers will often travel more than 100 miles to bring their clocks to Curiosity Shop.

I found this gem of a place via google. I have a lovely Swiss watch I have not used in years. I finally brought it in to this shop. WOW. It was impressive. Owner was very nice, shop was immaculate, fair prices and great service. My watch repair was done on time. And it is a family owned and operated business. The clocks and watches they sell are unique. This is the way business ran years ago, honest and customer focused. Thank you.
