  I hope this review is not to long but I must write about the wonderful, excellent and caring each and ever staff members are. I arrived on October 29 and was discharged on November 6, 2018. When I arrived I was getting over pneumonia and a back fusion surgery. Below are a few of the staff members that went out of their way to make sure I received the best care ever.
  The first person that I must mention is Margaret. She would do anything and everything to make my stay an enjoyable one. Every time she would pass me by she always would have the biggest smile on and always would say hello. She did not know what to do for me. I always would say slow down and she would say it is my pleasure helping everyone out. She has many roles at Glen Gariff and she does each and every roll to the best of her ability.
  The next person I would like to mention is Sandra the nurses aide that covers the second floor area. Each and every morning at 7:00 in the morning Sandra would sing down the hall way and make everyone smile. She would give me a shower everyday and sing as she helped me out. She would make sure I was comfortable and always happy. She made everyone on the second floor smile as she assisted everyone out. Even as she was ready to leave for the day she made sure she said to me have a great day and to be ready in the morning for my shower.
  The next person I want to write about is your front desk staff member Lisa. She had the biggest smile and always would help anyone that walked through your doors. Her smile was contagious, once she saw you, you had to smile back at her. It was the always refreshing knowing that she was there to help in anyway she could.
  Now comes a wonderful young man named Teddy. Everyday Teddy made sure to see me where ever I was. He always would sit and chat with me about what ever was on our minds. I would always look forward to speaking to him about religion or any other subject we would bring up. I would check on him constantly (like a father or grandfather would do). When I was at the front door getting ready to leave Teddy came up to me and wished me the very best. It was so hard to say good bye to him. Since I was in the maintenance field my entire life each day I would bring to Teddy's attention things that I thought could be done a little better.
  Now comes your Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Department. Jimmy from Occupational rehab worked with me almost everyday. He always had the push to make me do one more thing each and everyday. He would always said come on Fred you can do it and I made sure to do it. The last day although very busy he made it a point to see me and give me a mans hand shake. I told him that next summer I want to play him a one on one basketball game with him. He encouraged me to the limit.
  Now comes Charlette, PTA. With out her pushing me each and every session I am not sure I would be were I an now. One thing she always said to me was stop being so hard on myself. I am so hard on myself and Charlette knew just what to do and say. There were many times I would have tears in my eyes because I felt I was not doing something right or could not do something. Charlette would say to me stop being so hard on myself. She made sure when I left that I was okay.
  Now comes the person that I did save for last SUNIL your Physical Therapist. He made sure each and every time he passed me to help me out. If I had a question or just needed to talk he would always stop what he was doing and listen or help me out. He is truly what Glen Gariff stands for. His smile, his friendliness and his compassion to both patients and staff make him shine. He is now and will always be a person I will never forget. He shows his true colors each and every minute while he is at the facility. I was and am so lucky to have met such a caring person. He would always be around to speak to. He always made sure I was happy and understood what was going on. I can not say enough about SUNIL he is and always be in my heart.

  As a pastor, I visit many hospitals. Compared to others, this is a very quiet, clean and calm environment for rehab. People I know have received good care there and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff I spoke with there.

  I am a nurse at the facility, it's a great place to work, we take good care of our residents, they are our number one priority. The managerial team are wonderful, the doctor's at the facility are excellent, always on the premises. Employees are great to work with. The facility offers variety of healthy foods choices, menu's are handed out on a daily basis.
  I am very proud to be part of the team at Glengariff. I highly recommend the facility to any family who needs care for their loved ones.
