  The moment I walked into South Shore Health Foods, owner, Carol Schwartz, greeted me with a friendly, 'Hello'. I had only been there once years ago. So I know it was her natural demeanor and the tone that she sets for her establishment. As owner for the last 40 years, she is very knowledgeable about health products. Her store is cozy and very clean. She has a wide variety of products, shelved, refrigerated and frozen. She also makes fresh juices, too. This is one of the very few long standing local businesses that dot our Long Island landscape. If you need something right away and don't want to travel far to get it, this is the kind of store you want to support and continue to keep in business. If she does not have something on hand, she will do her best to get it for you. I highly recommend South Shore Health food in Baldwin, NY.

  I love going to this health food store they are always friendly and they do their best to help you out with whatever issues you are having. I had cysts in my ovaries and breast they recommended to try the tea of life and it made a huge difference . Please support small businesses

  Ms Carol is very informative and generous. I visit her store at least 3 times a week. Her shakes are delicious

  Carol is such a nice person and her smoothies are so delicious. She is knowledgeable about her products that she sells in the store and her store is a great asset to anyone that is trying to stay healthy in today's fast-food world.
