  I came to Rainforest Med Spa to get a cleopatra facial which I found on Groupon. I called the office to inquire more about it. I am so glad that I went to the office prior to purchasing the groupon. Dr. Purvin gave me a free consultation, and told me that what I needed was the Icon. He gave me a great payment option. What I was wanting is just to relax and have my skin moisturized, but they offer lasers that can lessen wrinkles, remove sunspots and kill the bacteria on your face for acne. I am now an avid fan and addicted to all the services they have. This is because of the personal touch and knowledge of Dr. Purvin. I thought I ought to write this review because of some negative reviews I found here.

  I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Purvin. He noticed I had acne on my face (something I've been self conscious about for years) and asked if I would like to make my face clearer. He recommended that I get a laser photofacial. He made me feel comfortable, he numbed my face and applied the laser. My face has never looked so clear. Even my pigmentation faded. He recommended that I do a series of 3. I just finished one and already, I see a huge difference. I highly recommend him.

  I had a callous (or so I thought) at the base of my fingernail on my index finger. I had this callous since 2007. I first went to a dermatologist, and she told me to apply duofilm (salicylic/glycolic acid) to melt the callous for 2 months. Then, I went to sn derm, they shave off my callous and used cold nitrogen to freeze it. I also went to LI plastic surgery to have them take a look at my finger. I was charged a consultation fee and then nothing.
  Fast forward to 2018. After many failed attempts of burning, freezing, shaving, peeling, scraping..., I met Dr. Purvin. Within the first 10 seconds, he told me that I had a wart. He also told me that he can remove it within 2 treatments with his laser. It was very painful. It only took 5 minutes for each session. I am happy to report that after more than 10 years, my wart is gone.
  His fees were so reasonable. I tell everyone that I was willing to pay 3x more than what he charged. He is also very funny and made you feel comfortable. He was not condescending and explained the process thoroughly. 5 stars all the way.
