(November 19, 2015, 11:22 am)A wonderful school with a real and sincere approach to the child as an individual. The teachers embody their days as a vocation--not just a job. I have been a Waldorf parent for many years, with 5 children ranging in ages from preschool to high school. My children are happy to be at school every day and are strong in their sense of self, and I attribute this in large part to the holistic and comprehensive approach of Waldorf education. They are challenged with their work and learning in ways that are innovative and outside of the box. I feel lucky to live in class she proximity to the Waldorf School of Garden City. It has a rich history, an active and successful alumni network, and a vibrant, caring and dedicated community of teachers, administrators, students and parents.

From the moment I walked in the door with my mother in order to visit at age nine, I was mesmerized by the warm, inclusive atmosphere. As I got older, I came to truly understand Waldorf's respect for both nature and healthy, childhood development. To whom it may concern, rest assured that with a Waldorf education in tow, one will be well-prepared for not only a rich, college education, but life beyond, as well.

(November 5, 2015, 1:08 pm)I had 2 children attend the Waldorf School of Garden City, both beginning in parent-child. One is now in college and the other is still attending the high school. What an amazing and comprehensive experience for both of them! They received a high-caliber, extremely well-rounded education that has helped them become successful students and life-long learners who are able to tackle any situation with creative and thoughtful solutions. Surrounded by a deeply caring and close-knit community of faculty and peers, my children have grown into happy, healthy, passionate and extraordinarily capable young people/adults. I am forever grateful to the faculty, staff and administrators for tirelessly working to maintain the unique aspects of this education that are so important in helping children blossom. I highly recommend this school!!!
