I needed new license plates (lost front plate) and, because my car is leased, knew that the DMV would be nothing but long lines and red tape. So I went to the Walnut Creek AAA to see if they could cut through the bureaucracy, and they did! Lisa, the receptionist/coordinator, and Teddy, the person who I worked with, were so helpful, kind and courteous. And they DID cut through the red tape, and I walked out with new plates, new stickers, and updated registration. Lisa even kindly provided me with a wrench to get a stuck screw off my back plate, when my screwdriver didn’t work. Oh, and we got cushy chairs and free Wi Fi while we waited in a pleasant, quiet and clean office! (So far a cry from the DMV.) So glad and grateful to be an AAA member!

Excellent, awesome, incredible. No waiting in DMV lines anymore. I don't know how many of you have been to DMV lately, but trust me this is much more conducive to keeping your sanity. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful, almost the polar opposite of DMV.

Busy parking lot but once you're in the office everything was super simple. Needed to renew my auto registration and was in and out in about five minutes. Even if that's the only service you use from AAA it was worth the price of membership to not go to the DMV.
