The mission of the Heroin Prevention Task Force is to form a partnership of community, social, and government agencies dedicated to reducing the demand for heroin in our communities.
The Nassau Police have been working on a Heroin Prevention Task Force, to work with the community to reduce demand for the drug and educate the public. To learn more, contact the task force's Chairperson, ADA Rene. P Fiechter at 516-571-1090, or email info@heroinprevention.com.
As part of that effort, the Task Force hosts periodic forums on drug reclamation programs. All who are active, or just interested, in these programs are always invited to participate by contacting Task Force chairman ADA René Fiechter via email, or at 516-571-1090.
