Tropical Jerk & Seafood Center

The wait is a little long but totally worth it. The food is amazing. My favorite is the oxtail. My husband love it 🥰

Grab a chair and be prepared to wait. Because this is what you'll be doing most of the time especially 20 to 30 minutes for jerk chicken. Overall the food is good I have no complaints my only issue is the long wait. You'll have plenty of time to complete any crossword puzzles or Rubik's cubes you may have lying around.

New York is quickly becoming one of my favorite food cities. I caught this place on my way out of Long Island and they didn't disappoint. Well, a little because I came for the Rasta Pasta and they weren't selling it that day. Nonetheless, I ordered the oxtails and they were so tender and well seasoned. I wish I had more time to try the rest of their menu but I had a flight to catch. Their price was higher than Jamaican Dutch Pot but good food is good food. It was a great sized portion as well. Long Island has been good to me. I will be back.

Jerk chicken here is great. I ordered the medium jerk chicken with cabbage, rice and beans with the oxtail gravy. The chicken might be a little spicy for some but It was delicious and very, very filling. The portion of chicken is great. For a little over 12 dollars this meal is certainly worth it.
