  Wantagh Park was a very pleasant experience. The park and all of it's facilities were inexplicably kept and spotless especially the grounds. The view if the great South Bay was exemplary.

  What a great hidden park in Nassau County, hidden because the entrance is a little obscure. The park is quiet clean, unknown to many people and has almost everything a park should: kids playground, mini golf, swimming pool (summer), basketball courts, tennis courts (needs major overhaul), softball fields, picnic canopies and prime picnic spots that you have to book in advance for a price (strictly enforced). It is also by a marina, so a lot of mosquitos around in the summer but a stroll by the water after a picnic is always nice.

  Gorgeous. Lovely park with baseball fields, mini golf, boat marina, hockey rink (no ice), gated dog park and toddler play ground areas. Walk, bike and skating paths on both sides of park. Near by water slide and pool area. Lots of wild life and at night lots of fire flies. Really beautiful area. Great for bike family bike rides or an after dinner walk.

  Fun Park, well kept, nice bike/walking trail. Fishing area, covered area, new mini golf area, multiple playgrounds. Open to public, at least during week.
  Pool- great pool for all ages but expensive if you are not a resident with pass. Pool area has 6 separate pools- 2 slides, diving board, spray park, open swim area, lap lanes, kiddie pool. Showers. Sack shack (cash only) open to pool and Park area.

We could have had much more fun days at the park if they only realized what we had in our area, and Wantagh Park is a good indicator of that. It was a bit tough to find, our GPS just could not get the address right the first two or three times, but once we were there, it was pretty smooth sailing.
